One has a 5.0-liter V8, and one has a Turbo 4-cylinder. But which is which?

Kinja'd!!!

And which would you choose?

The Lexus in it’s V6; I don't want to mistaken for a murderer and I'm too poor for V8 maintenance

Mustang.  I’m tired of pedestrians here ignoring signals and all other rules for that matter.  Time to thin them out!

The Mustang is an ecoboost but besides that there’s a huge price difference between the Lexus and ecoboost Mustang.

I choose the imported muscle. Its a good GT car.

I’d have to take the boostang sadly. Love the idea of the RC-f and I’ve been more than happy with every Lexus I’ve ever owned but for the price and with only an automatic option it’s really hard to justify. I mean the RC-f has a higher msrp than a gt350, it’d be a great car for anything up to about $45k but it’s totally silly at 65+, just plays in a whole different ball game at that point.  With price as no object I’d take the RC-f and live without the manual just to be a little different and not be a mustang guy. Like I keep looking at the Lexuses but I always stumble on the price, guess I should find a good CPO one?

One is an import and the other is a pony car.

Mustang. RC-F is a pig that makes you wonder if the F badge/tuning even really did anything.

Let’s be fair, the RC-F has a good grunt/growl and performance that will knock the socks off of 90% of the population. It just doesn’t live up to our enthusiast expectations. It’s well above an ecoboost mustang in performance & interior quality.

I still can’t get past the spindle grill styling ... 5.0 ‘Stang it would be for me.

Oh yes most definitely it’s above and beyond the M ustang in performance and quality no question. It’s just that it’s a let down for whatever it’s trying to be. Have you ever driven one? It’s forgettable.

Despite its unbelievably heavy weight, RC-F. It’s faster and the seats are better. And the engine sounds better too. Now if you were to compare the Boostang to  say a RC200t or whatever, I'd lean towards the Ford.
